I was born in New York City, and lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a child. My family was very artistic; both my parents were ballet dancers. As a child I was constantly drawing and loved it. I studied art and photography in high school, and some painting classes at the Austin Museum of Art, and studied with artist Robert Burridge, but I am mostly self-taught. I gave up art while raising my children, but with the encouragement of my family I started creating art again. I was always told I was good at art, and I finally got the courage to do it. I had my first paintings exhibited as part of a group show at a cafe, and sold my first painting the first week. I now exhibit paintings, photography and a few 3D pieces all around Austin and participated in a juried show in Colorado.
